Essential Job Functions
- Performs routine EEG tests, including impedance checks, photic stimulation, hyperventilation, and video monitoring.
- Identifies and eliminates or reduces artifact contamination of the recording of the EEG and video.
- Maintains EEG equipment by conducting calibrations and troubleshooting.
- Prepares test reports and maintains test data.
- Explains EEG procedure and preparation to patient.
Education & Experience
- Required: Graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostic or a combination of education and experience.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
