About the role
The Electro-Optics Lab Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating advanced laboratory equipment used in optical and electronic research.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment including spectrometers, lasers, and optical test benches.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
- Prepare samples and conduct experiments according to protocols.
- Document experimental results and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in laboratory operations or similar technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of optics, electronics, and laboratory safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with computer software such as Excel and Word.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under tight deadlines.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
