Electro-Optic Test Technician

Responsibilities
- Assembles and tests infrared testing systems
- Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance
- Creates calibration, configuration, and test procedures for SBIR products
- Programs and debugs circuit boards with embedded microprocessors
- Configures embedded controllers and creates and loads calibration data
- Performs and documents systematic failure analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of nonconforming products
- Diagnoses and documents the cause(s) of electrical, optical, and/or mechanical malfunctions or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance
- Applies strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Uses electrical lab equipment (DMM, DSOs, power supplies)
- Reads and interprets BOMs, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics
Pay
$35–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
