Electro Mechanical Technician - On-Site Engineer

About the role

Kelly Services is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to support Edwards Vacuum at a customer site in Chandler, Arizona. This position will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and service vacuum pumps, abatement equipment, and gas and chemical delivery systems. This is a W-2 temporary-to-hire opportunity through Kelly Services supporting Edwards Vacuum.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain electromechanical equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Use test meters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Perform equipment installation and preventative maintenance.
• Follow all fab, subfab, and site safety procedures.
• Provide professional customer service and technical support.
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree required; full military equivalent may substitute.
• One to three years of experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, vacuum systems, or a related technical field.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to complete training to work at heights using approved fall-protection equipment.
• Successful completion of a physical capability assessment and drug screen required.

Pay

$24.00–$25.00 per hour

Schedule

Must be flexible and available to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules. Final requirements and shift schedules are subject to customer approval.
