What You'll Be Doing
- Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems including motors, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and control panels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Uphold all OSHA regulations, GMP's and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with production teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to work alongside clients, customers, co-workers and supervisors
- Assist with calibration and testing of equipment as needed
What You Bring
- 3+ years' experience and mechanical maintenance, repair and installation in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong ability in all areas of electrical maintenance, including 480v 3-phase motors, variable frequency drives and controls is required
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, motor drivers, controls and PLC inputs and outputs; trouble shooting skills
- Certification in industrial maintenance or electromechanics, welding and fabrication experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; understanding root cause, impact on production and preventing down time in the future
- A drive to succeed with a self-starter approach and a can-do attitude
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
