Quality
- Follow recipes and deviations at all times. Unauthorized deviations are strictly forbidden.
- Comply with all FDA rules, procedures and work practices.
- Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
- Maintain confidential information on recipes.
- Report all deviations from the recipe.
Operations
- Understanding verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must follow safety rules and procedures including the wearing of safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses where appropriate.
- Must observe good manufacturing practices (GMP) and USDA policies.
- Must pass physical strength test (cybex).
- Must be able to transport oneself to, from, and around one’s designated work area on concrete surfaces which are often uneven, wet, and slippery.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Must be able to climb and descend ladders.
- Must be able to operate required shop hand and power tools.
- Must have related technical school training or the equivalent work experience.
- Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances which may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm.
- Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members.
- Work with, and be exposed to oils, greases, and solvents.
- Work in confined spaces.
- Push buttons, turn knobs, and flip switches on equipment.
- Must be able to evacuate an area quickly in an emergency.
- Must be capable of safely operating forklift equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: On the job training.
- Skills: Reading, math, and leadership skills necessary.
