Key Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels per schematics
- Field Bearing Changes
- Inspection of electro-mechanical systems for evidence of mechanical degradation
- Mount enclosures, punch, drill, and tap holes, and install conduits
- Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and start-up
- Maintain organization, safety standards, and documentation
- Adapt to production demands and support other shop areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years in control panel building and equipment wiring
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and three-phase motor control
- Experience with hand tools, fabrication machinery, and multi-meters
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and blueprints
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Basic hand tools required
Preferred
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology
- Conveyor industry experience
- Basic computer skills
