Full-Time, 3rd shift: 11:00pm–7:00am
Training schedule: 7:00am–3:00pm
Location: Atglen Container Facility, 4581 Lower Valley Road, Atglen, PA 19310
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
- Perform emergency and breakdown maintenance to support plant operations; reference equipment manuals and other technical literature; contact and work with vendors and subcontractors
- Accurately use measurement and test equipment
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
- Safely operate the boiler and maintain adequate operating steam pressure
- Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork
- Troubleshoot and solve problems; maintain teamwork with other associates and keep supervision informed of problems and/or unusual situations
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
- Ability to perform the duties/responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
- Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
- Ability to learn; ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
