Work Hours
2nd shift M–Th 3pm–1am
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $41.41 to $44.20, commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 upon successful hiring
- Shift Differential: $3.25 an hour
Responsibilities
- Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Perform the work of the lower-class identifications
- Direct the work of others in the lower classifications
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures
- Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions
- Do layouts, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications
- Repair, install, replace and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
- Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader
Qualifications
- Two-year Associate degree and 5+ years' work experience required
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
- Experience in designing minor electrical circuits and testing/troubleshooting electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
- Standing long periods, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
