About the role

The Electro-Mechanical Repair Technician position at Fluid Analysis Business focuses on repairing and maintaining laboratory instruments within an ISO 9001 environment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electronic and mechanical issues, setting up and calibrating equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Disassembling/reassembling equipment
  • Cleaning/repairing components
  • Setting up and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical issues to board level
  • Soldering components to circuit boards
  • Assembly and calibration of gold film sensors
  • Operating multimeters and digital flow meters
  • Reading, following, and submitting corrections for work instructions
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical, SDS, and PPE safety protocols
  • Capturing, evaluating, and recording test results
  • Interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Executing logical progression of repair, calibration, and verification processes
  • Daily use of an ERP system

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology (or a related technical field)
  • 1-3 years of experience in electronics repair and manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience in safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • MS Office experience

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of Syteline system
  • Experience with ISO 9001

Pay

$40,000 - $50,000 annually
