Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Green Bay Packaging - Folding Carton offers a fast-paced environment where the Electro-Mechanical Technician oversees the installation and maintenance of plant support systems and process machinery. This role ensures the reliability of industrial equipment and associated support systems through corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance techniques, along with operational and design feedback for system improvements. Each technician receives a personalized development plan to build technical competencies, enhance troubleshooting and maintenance skills, and support ongoing professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and install all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Inspect and assess functionality of critical facility systems (HVAC, air compressors, and humidification systems)
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Maintain tool accountability and comply with GMP standards
- Assist with general facilities and grounds maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical controls and automation systems
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
- Experience with HVAC systems, compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Welding, machining, and fabrication experience
- Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and industrial maintenance standards
- Proficiency using electrical diagnostic tools including multimeters and testing equipment
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills

Pay
Compensation ranges from $27.37/hr - $41.91/hr. Your actual level and base salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Schedule
- Training: Day shift (6am - 2pm, Monday-Friday) for up to 120 days
- After training, either:
- 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm), or
- 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am)
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
