Your Role
- Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace mechanical and electrical components as required.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment condition and trends.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, including bearings, motors, drives, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
- Identify root causes of mechanical breakdowns and recommend corrective actions.
- Align, assemble, and disassemble mechanical systems according to specifications.
- Diagnose issues with low-voltage electronics, such as sensors, relays, PLC I/O, HMIs, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Support startup, shutdown, and commissioning of equipment following maintenance or repair.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency equipment failures.
- Provide troubleshooting support during production hours to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to resolve issues efficiently.
About You
- A proven track record or relevant experience in an industrial maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and industrial electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage equipment and low-voltage control electronics.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical failures independently, work safely in an industrial environment, and respond to urgent repair needs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, meters, and hand/power tools is a plus.
