About the role
You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the Production Resources Department, Electrical Shop of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Responsibilities
- Plan sequences of operations and work steps of employees supervised.
- Plan the division of workload among employees based on the capabilities of assigned and available employees.
- Assign work either by oral or written instructions.
- Resolve working problems and take necessary corrective action to overcome delays such as bottlenecks, equipment breakdown, and material shortages.
Qualifications
- Ability to Lead or Supervise.
- Managing electrical work operations.
- Interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and local procedures.
- Conducting quality checks or inspections of electrical equipment or products to determine quality, condition, or overall appearance.
- Setting priorities and coordinating the availability of equipment for routine maintenance.
