Responsibilities
Experienced Electricians
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
- Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
- Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
- Educate and offer customers appropriate upgrades that can be completed immediately or scheduled later
- Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
- Document work completed with before and after photos
- Demonstrate safe working practices and methods
- Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
Electrical Maintenance Technicians
- Learn how to successfully complete electrical maintenance meeting or exceeding National Electrical Code standards
- Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area
- Learn how to educate and offer customers appropriate upgrades
- Learn how to document work completed with before and after photos
- Demonstrate safe working practices and methods
- Learn how to effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of residential electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting experience, or 2 years at current job
- Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshoot
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and existing settings
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional assistance or equipment
- Ability to work safely in outdoor heat and cold, on ladders, and on roofs at medium to high heights
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance, clean uniform, and work shoes
