Electrician | Part-Time | Enmarket Arena

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all Enmarket Arena electrical systems, including line and low voltage, HVAC, and other building assets.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Reads technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Troubleshoots building systems using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairs and replaces equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Assists in operating the Enmarket Arena during events and non-event modes as needed.
• Operates and maintains equipment including forklift, Zamboni, hand tools, power tools, pickup trucks, etc.
• Assists as needed in all areas of operations.

Qualifications

• Possess demonstrated basic knowledge of methods, principles, and practices required for the operation, repair, and maintenance of all systems such as low voltage, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules and produce accurate results.
• Ability to work independently and exercise proper judgment in routine matters.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• High School Diploma required. College or Technical School Degree Preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to access all areas of the facility, lifting and carrying heavy objects, moving, climbing, and working at various heights.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
