About the role
A skilled Modular Electrician to join a fast-paced modular construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Installing electrical wiring, conduit, panels, fixtures, and devices in modular units
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Performing rough-in and finish electrical work on modular structures
- Ensuring all work complies with NEC, local, and state electrical codes
- Testing electrical systems for proper operation and safety
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues during production
- Collaborating with other trades to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Meeting production schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of electrical experience, preferably in modular, residential, or commercial work
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on feet for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or similar certification
- Experience in modular or prefab construction
- Forklift or lift certification
- Experience in factory or production environments
