About the role
The Electrician will be responsible for performing skilled electrical work in support of both Building Automation Systems (BAS) and mechanical installation projects. This position plays a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across federal, commercial, and industrial job sites.
Responsibilities
- Cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit (½", ¾", 1") to meet project specifications.
- Pull electrical wiring through conduit systems and perform accurate terminations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for proper installation.
- Terminate electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, switches, and related devices.
- Install and assist with electrical integration for BAS controls and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and company safety standards.
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good working condition.
- Complete assigned tasks in coordination with project teams, ensuring project deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience (3–5 years preferred) as an Electrician in commercial, industrial, or controls environments.
- Experience with BAS systems or mechanical equipment wiring preferred.
- Ability to interpret and execute work from blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to complete projects independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
