Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance and repairs on all types of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical circuits, motor controls, and lighting circuits.
- Replaces electrical equipment such as disconnects, plugs, switches, and ballasts as needed.
- Keeps employees and jobs going in the absence of the shop supervisor.
- Keeps paperwork and work orders, purchase orders, in neat and orderly manner.
- Keeps work truck clean and stocked.
- Performs and assists in the performance of special projects.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Master Electrician or as an Electrician by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction.
- Maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
