Electrician - Journeyman

About the role

This position involves maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC equipment in a manufacturing or processing environment. This is an on-site position with no visa sponsorship or relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate with safety and program teams to ensure electrical safety compliance and improve safety protocols.
• Adhere to safety procedures, environmental regulations, OSHA standards, and quality systems.
• Recommend process or safety improvements, including new device installations.
• Perform various assigned duties related to equipment maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrical License required.
• Ability to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work in elevated or outdoor environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining detailed equipment records.

Skills

• Master Licensed Electrician (preferred).
• Experience with work order and inventory systems, automation, PLCs, and industrial maintenance (preferred).
