About the role
Loenbro is seeking Journeyman Electricians in the Cheyenne, WY area. This is a project-based position for candidates with a passion for safety, initiative, and experience in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Establish service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Keep personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Keep customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements
- WY Journeyman license or reciprocal state license required.
- Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems.
- Experience in electrical and pneumatic process controls.
- Dependable, works hard, and willing to put in the hours needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Qualifications
- Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Able to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
- Work with and train apprentices on the job.
Skills
- Reading and understanding technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, ascending/descending ladders, scaffolding, and performing tasks in confined spaces.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, masks, and earplugs.
- Following safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
