ELECTRICIAN II

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility lighting by replacing bulbs and ballasts as needed.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical parts.
• Run power circuits for required loads.
• Perform basic mechanical duties, including removing motors and pulleys.
• Route electrical conduit and cables.
• Participate in safe electrical practices and plant safety programs.
• Act as a helper for Class I and Senior Electricians.
• Record test data and document electrical failures.
• Troubleshoot process control equipment and board-level instrumentation.
• Install and calibrate field instrumentation, including RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Certification/diploma in electrical technology from an accredited school preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Two-plus years of experience repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment, systems, or applications.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and maintain records.
• Technical aptitude to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic programming, and repair manuals.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical code, effective technology, and proficiency with applicable tools and equipment.

Must be able to work shift work and collaborate effectively with others.
