Electrician II
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and circuits, including power distribution, motor control centers, and backup emergency switch gear.
- Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily including Electrical and associated systems, in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.
- Maintain facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.
- May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital.
- May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
- Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, and CMS codes and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent education.
- Technical education preferred.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent (8+ years Electrician experience encompassing a range of electrical work and skills sets) required.
- 5 years experience as an Electrician required.
- 3 years Hospital Maintenance experience preferred.
- 1 year High-rise Electrical system experience preferred.
- 1 year Mechanical system experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Current OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Position is full-time with a shift of 2:30pm-11:00pm on Tuesday-Saturday.
