Electrician I

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and circuits.
• Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Electrical and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.

Requirements

• Education: High School or Equivalent
• Experience: 3 Years experience as an Electrician
• Preferred: 1 Year High-rise Electrical system, 1 Year Mechanical system
• Must obtain OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Shift: 3:30pm-11pm

Days: Monday – Friday / Occasional Weekends
