Arcon Electric is seeking an experienced commercial electrician to work on large-scale commercial projects in the Destin, FL area. For over 40 years, the company has focused on new construction commercial properties and is looking for a skilled, results-oriented problem-solver who values meaningful work and is eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the installation, addition, alteration, and repair of advanced electrical systems, conductors, and equipment in new commercial construction
• Utilize experience to troubleshoot complex circuits and equipment, including lighting and developing controls systems
• Expertly interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints to turn architectural plans into fully functional, high-performance electrical systems
• Contribute to innovation and adaptability by suggesting and implementing efficient and cutting-edge techniques and technologies
• Act as a resource, potentially guiding less experienced team members, reinforcing growth and teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience as a Commercial Electrician
• Proven ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of and ability to follow the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Expertise in measuring, cutting, bending, assembling, and installing electrical conduit and rough-in materials
• Physical ability to meet job requirements (lifting 50+ lbs, working at various heights, etc.)
• Results-oriented problem-solver with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and self-management skills
