Electrician - Grade B (Bogalusa Container)

About the role

The Maintenance Electrician - Grade B position at Bogalusa Container Plant is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks within the industrial manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, read factory details, utilize basic shop math, and accurately complete quality and administrative documents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment issues
• Reading factory details
• Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions

Requirements

• 3+ years in Industrial Manufacturing
• PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs and changeouts of programs
• Experience with photo eyes, sensors, limit switches and solenoids
• Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls)
• Mechanical systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes)
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics
• High and Low Voltage
• Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues

Skills

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, hear and talk to communicate with other team members
