Electrician (FDIC)

Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Electrician in Arlington, VA. This position supports the operation, maintenance, and repair of building electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia)
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical support functions within office buildings and/or data center environments
• Service truck experience accepted
• One (1) year of construction trades experience may be substituted
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks

Physical Demands

• Must be able to move/lift heavy objects
• Climb vertical ladders
• Work at heights
• Be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools
