Electrician

Responsibilities

• Work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits.
• Interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Support complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits.
• Maintain electrical equipment throughout the mine and the mill.
• Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution and installation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in the electrical field is preferred.
• The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
• Industrial background with knowledge in three phase power, medium voltage, MCC installation and repair and conduit bending, and installation preferred.
• Special licenses, certifications, and schooling, along with maintenance cross-training and any overtime shifts worked in maintenance will also be considered.
