Electrician Facilities Engineer III - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders related to the maintenance and operation of major physical and mechanical equipment
• Maintain working knowledge of property systems
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Electrical distribution systems, motors, and controls (electric and pneumatic)
• Kitchen and restaurant equipment
• Mechanical and non-mechanical systems
• Compressors, refrigeration units, and air-conditioning equipment
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed, including work orders, logs, and reports
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Director of Facility Operations
• Deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family-Style Service to all guests and team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of commercial electrical systems preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have strong knowledge of testing equipment such as an ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter and testing lamp
• Must be able to read blueprints and understand the operation of main switchgear, distribution systems and emergency transfer switches
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be safety conscious
• Must be able to work as a team player to accomplish the goals of the Engineering Department
• Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
