Electrician, Facilities (Caesars New Orleans)

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all electrical equipment and related systems.
• Applies operational procedures as required by state and local codes.
• Maintains log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and materials necessary for repairs.
• Keeps all equipment, equipment rooms and other assigned areas clean.
• Responsible for preventive and regular maintenance of all equipment.
• Aids all other trades in the Facilities Department as directed by Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Minimum five years experience working with electrical equipment and other related systems.
• Class-D Electrical License or greater issued by the City of New Orleans.
• Valid Louisiana Drivers License.

Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands

• Able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, and work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical Plans.
