About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician with strong troubleshooting and installation skills to support industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and installing electrical projects and equipment
• Coordinate with team members to maintain and troubleshoot systems up to 480V and 4160V, including variable frequency drives
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals for installation and repair procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical components and machinery
• Install and maintain telecommunications cables and manage spare parts inventory
• Operate test equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and ensure equipment functions correctly
• Adhere to safety standards, including OSHA regulations and proper PPE use
• Enter work notifications, support outside contracted projects, and assist with plant maintenance needs
• Work indoors and outdoors, in confined spaces, and in extreme conditions, with flexibility to work overtime and different shifts

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, work in elevated and extreme temperatures, and perform physical tasks
• Experience with electrical maintenance, blueprints, schematics, and basic math skills
• Proficiency in operating electrical tools, machinery, and mobile equipment
• Strong safety focus, time management, and ability to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and NEC codes
• Possession of a journeyman or higher electrical license, or a related 2-year degree
