Electrician

Sign-on bonus of $4,668 available for the successful applicant, paid in 2 installments within 12 months of hire: $2,334 within 30 days of hire date and $2,334 12 months after hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs all types of electrical construction work on in-house projects, including electrical installations and major maintenance from the load side of service transformer to the last device.
• Properly and safely uses and operates associated powered or hand tools of the electrical trade.
• Maintains, repairs, replaces, fabricates, installs, and alters electrical systems and components.
• Reads and interprets construction blueprints and detailed job descriptions.
• Creates materials take-off lists and completes purchase requisitions for needed materials, tools, and tool accessories.
• Applies skills in planning, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and adherence to safety.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E.
• Able to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and prints.
• Possesses a valid NC Driver’s License or has the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
