Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in residential settings
• Evaluate electrical systems, appliances, and equipment to identify repair and replace needs
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards
• Communicate with homeowners to explain services and address any concerns or questions
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical systems to identify faults
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services and repairs
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a residential electrician or similar role
• Valid electrician's license and up-to-date certifications
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and local electrical codes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in electrical technology is a plus
