Electrician

About the role

The Physical Plant at Massanutten Resort is seeking an experienced Electrician. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, in groups, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete understanding of single and three-phase electrical repair, wiring, and installation from 120v to 460v.
• Diagnose and make repairs or new installations.
• Follow safety codes and understand procedure manuals and other guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• General knowledge of every cycle and its components, including accurate reading of schematics and blueprints.
• General building maintenance - residential or commercial.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Good communications skills.
• Proactive problem solver focused on delivering excellent customer service and continuously identifying opportunities for growth.
• Maintain/clean company vehicle inventory in the vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with an approved driving record.
• Willingness to obtain a VA State Electrical license (if needed).
• Willingness to obtain a VA State Journeyman license (preferred).

Skills

• Ability to diagnose and make repairs or new installations.
• Understanding of safety codes and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.

Pay

Salary negotiable and based on experience.

Schedule

This is a Monday through Friday job with occasional weekends. Other duties as assigned by management.
