Primary Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively with the Facility Manager to determine service needs.
- Captures and supervises client sub-contractors while performing service on site.
- Demonstrates critical thinking to ensure correct solutions are implemented for building electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Education: HS Diploma
- Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience related to electrical facility maintenance.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid US driver’s license. Electrical license (Apprentice or Journeyman) desired and a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strict electrical PM schedule to include but not limited to UPS & PDU systems, emergency generators, lighting systems, A/C and Heating equipment.
- Performs a wide variety of electrical corrective maintenance work requests such as ballast and bulb replacements, switches, outlets, breakers, interior/exterior/parking garage lighting, etc.
- Aid other skilled employees to perform projects as requested and assist in snow removal when necessary.
- Perform monitoring of the building automation computer system to ensure equipment is running and the building temperature conditions are in range.
- Monitor and operate the client CMMS system for PM’s and work orders.
Physical Demands
- The ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required.
- Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift.
- Have the ability to work and maneuver on a variety of terrains including shoveling snow when required.
- Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- May be required to work in confined, restricted and hot areas.
- May be required to work in cold/snow conditions.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and Holidays when required.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $32/hr - $39/hr
Other Compensation
This position is not bonus or commission eligible
