Electrician
Responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to plan, lay-out and install equipment and cabling.
- Ability to use VOMs, Meggers, Amp and Phase rotation meters, etc. for troubleshooting, testing, and circuit analysis.
- Experience serving as a Lead Electrician, including guiding and training junior electricians with minimal supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems down to the component level.
- Knowledge of and ability to accomplish standard items 009-36 and 16’s on electrical/electronic equipment.
- Willingness and ability to complete Connectorization School training when available.
- Working Knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items and EPISM (Electric Plant Installation Standard Methods).
