Ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and PLC program listings to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and solid-state equipment. Must be responsive in correcting electrical problems for machine technicians. Maintain adequate electrical supplies and repair parts to service machinery and prevent prolonged downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Submit requisitions for purchase orders to Supervisor for repair parts or materials as needed.
  • Perform preventative, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance for production and building electrical equipment, including AC & DC drives, PLC, and other system controls.
  • Maintain plant emergency lighting system, including weekly performance checks.
  • Maintain logs or records required by State or Federal codes or company procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Journeyman’s License and/or 150-hour Master Electrician course at a technical school or a degree in a related field (e.g., electromechanical studies).

Pay

Starting rate of pay is expected to be $27/hr, with potential variation between $27/hr and $37/hr based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of posting and may vary by jurisdiction.

Schedule

12-hour day shift with a unique schedule.
