Electrician Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Aid the electrician in performing electrical maintenance, repair, and construction tasks.
• Prepare and assemble necessary apparatus for specific tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Handle materials as needed, including loading onto trucks or trailers.
• Strip and terminate cables as required.
• Perform electrical testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Record meter data and maintain electrical records and schedules.
• Work with contractors to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
