Electrician A- 1st Shift

About the role

Working with limited supervision, you will install, remove, relocate, and modify circuits, feeders, rough wiring up to applicable fire-alarm systems/devices (excluding programming and software), and security systems. All work adheres to current NFPA 70 and Massachusetts amendments. This is a 1st-shift position (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Safely plan, lay out, install, repair, and maintain RTX electrical infrastructure and machine-tool support.
• Create and review stock lists with the group leader.
• Notify supervision of major repairs or modifications.
• Perform ESD work and maintain a clean work area.
• Handle daily housekeeping, tool/equipment upkeep, and material/equipment movement.
• Maintain records and follow all safety rules.
• Operate tools including digital multimeters, hand/power tools, conduit benders, wire-pulling equipment, lifts, and ladders.
• Perform other assigned electrical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience.
• Active and existing DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).

Pay

Hourly rate: $48.46.
