Electrical Test Technician (USA)

About the role

To strengthen our team in the USA we are looking for a

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests on transformers and other products using standard equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in production assemblies
• Verify product performance and energy efficiency based on defined specifications
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment according to schedule
• Document basic test results and support quality reporting
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth testing workflows
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical technology, or equivalent technical training
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing or diagnostics
• Familiarity with transformer systems or inductive components preferred
• Able to use standard test equipment confidently
• Comfortable reading schematics and following test procedures
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in documentation
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and reach above shoulder level
• Good hearing (naturally or with aids) and vision (20/20 with or without correction)
