Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct tests on satellite and space hardware, ensuring all products meet required standards and specifications.
- Create and implement test methods and procedures to identify potential issues or faults.
- Perform electrical testing at both unit and spacecraft levels, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct failure analysis using methods such as Ishikawa (fishbone) and “5-Why.”
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and determine the best course of action for resolution.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall team performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and continually seek ways to improve testing processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with satellite and space hardware testing.
- Knowledge and experience in test method development.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Experience with failure analysis methods such as Ishikawa (fishbone) and “5-Why” (preferred).
- Electrical testing experience at both unit and spacecraft level.
- Linux and scripting (Python, etc.) (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential issues before they become problems.
- Proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
