Electrical Test and Product Engineer

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and update functional and parametric test programs for various product lines (memories, logic, and microprocessors) utilizing our Automated Test Equipment, specifically the Cohu DxV.
• Partner seamlessly with Operations, Quality, and Sales & Marketing to define test strategies and drive test development for new product development.
• Write and maintain comprehensive test procedures, electrical test specifications, and detailed characterization reports.
• Act as the first line of defense for hardware and software issues during the testing phase. Collaborate closely with the manufacturing floor to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve test-related production bottlenecks.
• Analyze test data and yield reports to identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to enhance testing reliability, increase coverage, and drive down test times.
• Perform hands-on failure analysis (FA) on non-conforming parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, circuit theory, and test methodologies.
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and familiarity with test programming languages such as LabVIEW, Python, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in semiconductor manufacturing, including ISO 9001 and AS9100D.
