Ayers Career College is seeking an Electrical Technician Instructor to meet growing employer demand in the rapidly expanding field of electronics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through both classroom learning and hands-on lab work, preparing them for in-demand careers in the electrical/electronics field.
• Mentor students at various skill levels, managing a professional and engaging classroom environment.
• Provide tutoring and individualized support as needed.
• Model professional conduct, language, and behaviors expected from students.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronics technology.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and solid organizational skills.
• A relevant industry certification is a plus, as is prior teaching or mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.

• Hands-on knowledge in electrical or electronics technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students.
• Proficiency in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Experience in providing individualized support and tutoring.
