Electrical Systems Installer

Responsibilities

• Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, and analysis.
• Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.
• May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects.
• Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments and PC Software as needed.
• Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues.
• Completes administrative duties, including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Provides feedback to JCI Engineering on changes and keeps as-built drawings current.
• Solves job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to management as required.
• Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.

Requirements

• Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques or two years of experience directly with controls installations.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experienced in scope determination of installation materials(FAN-410).
• Some Windows/Office Suite software user knowledge.

Pay

Hiring hourly range: $19-26 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
