Electrical Systems Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4 to 8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Background in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related field
• Experience with rugged compute, edge compute, system assembly, mechanical design, system integration, or system testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; active clearance preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with 3U OpenVPX, VPX ATR chassis, or rugged embedded computing hardware programs
• Familiarity with SOSA, MOSA, CMOSS, or VITA standards in a manufacturing or program context
• Hands-on experience with Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) for airborne or defense electronics programs
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with embedded or rugged hardware bring-up and qualification
• A builder’s mindset and eagerness to learn across disciplines
