Electrical Supplier QA
Role Scope
Own supplier quality for electrical equipment: switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway from qualification through delivery.
Run factory audits and witness testing (FAT, routine tests) at electrical OEM facilities worldwide.
Set inspection and test requirements into purchase orders so quality is contractual, not assumed.
Drive corrective action on escapes, and track supplier quality data that feeds back into award decisions.
What We're Looking For
- You've done supplier quality or witness testing for major electrical equipment.
- You read electrical test reports critically and know which passing numbers deserve a second look.
- You've held OEMs to test standards when schedule pressure argued for waiving them.
- You travel to factories readily and use the trips well.
- Bonus: IEEE and ANSI switchgear standards. Transformer testing. UPS and battery systems. NETA or NICET credentials.
How We Operate
- Extreme ownership.
- Full autonomy.
- Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
- Velocity. Drive everything forward as fast as possible.
- First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
- Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
Supply Chain Team Examples of key problems the team is working on
- Supply 10GW of compute, the largest build out of compute in history.
- Qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline.
- Make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone.
- Redefine speed in this industry, and it lives or dies on supply chain.
- Keep procurement permanently off the critical path so schedule compression stays our advantage, not our constraint.
- Build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists.
- Forecast lead times, demand, and disruption with a precision the industry has never had, and turn that foresight into a structural edge.
Our Supply Chain Team operates with extreme ownership, full autonomy, and a focus on velocity and first principles. They work on critical problems like qualifying and sourcing massive amounts of compute infrastructure, setting up the supply chain to be a competitive advantage, and using advanced AI to predict and manage disruptions.
