Fountain Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage multiple crews and large-scale commercial/industrial electrical projects across western North Carolina, the Piedmont, Metrolina region, and upstate South Carolina. Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coordinate, lay out, and manage the on-site installation of electrical wiring, systems, controls, equipment, and fixtures
  • Work with project managers and foremen to ensure successful and profitable project completion
  • Read, understand, and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and other contract documents
  • Plan and lay out work in conjunction with project managers and engineers
  • Communicate and interface with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades
  • Direct, train, and mentor foremen and junior leaders
  • Ensure foremen implement the company “leader-board” system and meet daily job reporting requirements
  • Serve as liaison between project manager and jobsite leadership
  • Oversee overall project quality assurance/quality control
  • Lead and manage multiple 6–10 person crews and direct the work of multiple foremen and/or projects

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
  • 4+ years in a foreman or superintendent role, or similar supervisory capacity
  • Experience overseeing multiple foremen/crews on large construction jobs or multiple smaller concurrent jobs
  • Preferred: Leadership/supervisory experience on projects exceeding $1 million

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work from ladders or scaffolds, and perform overhead work
  • Capable of repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending
  • Ability to work in varied climate conditions with good balance, depth perception, eye–hand coordination, and stamina
  • Occasional hands-on work with tools alongside crews

Additional Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Mandatory drug screen and background check
  • Preferred: Apprenticeship, trade school, or technical training
  • Preferred: Relevant licenses and/or certifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under time constraints

Pay

$35 – $45 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
