About the Role
As the Electrical Services Executive, you will provide overall management and direction for large recurring and non-recurring work, including service contracts, projects, and work orders at Rosendin, one of the largest employee-owned electrical contractors in the United States. Responsibilities
- Provide initial client contact to assess client needs for their facility or service call.
- Prepare a complete estimate and budget for the service contract, project, or service call with a detailed review of client requirements.
- Provide guidance and management for the Electrical Services Manager(s).
- Directly manage a team of Electrical Services Managers to provide oversight for contracts and projects based on complexity and support required.
- Provide technical review for all bid estimates proposed to ensure all requirements are met.
- Track terms and rates negotiated with clients for facilitating and sustaining service accounts to ensure consistency across client accounts.
- Execute business development with existing clients.
- Coordinate with Rosendin Engineering for bid estimates and active projects.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts with the Project Assistant or Service Coordinator to protect the company’s interest while maintaining client relationships to ensure profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with large service accounts to expand relationships across multiple locations.
- Prepare monthly cost reports under the supervision of a Division Manager.
- Schedule regular visits with sustaining service accounts to assure client satisfaction.
- Fulfill division objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all projects.
- Instill and promote a "win-win" attitude with service drivers to ensure profitable work and satisfied customers.
- Coordinate efforts with the Business Development Group.
- Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by service drivers and support personnel.
- Execute organization's programs, policies, standards, and procedures consistent with corporate guidelines.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required by the division's operating needs or as directed by the Division Manager.
Requirements
- Advanced technical and customer service skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and work within budgets.
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
- Commitment to working in a team atmosphere.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word); Accubid and Oracle preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of CMMS platforms, such as Maximo, Tririga, Archibus, Maintenance Connection, or ChekHub.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work under time pressure with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a project management, service management, or facility management role.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience managing an operations team.
- Demonstrated experience in promoting and selling service contracts to meet client needs.
- Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Working Conditions
- General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
- Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Travel up to 50%.
