Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including estimating, preconstruction, purchasing, and field operations.
- Lead project teams and facilitate communication among functional representatives, both internal and external.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure all project objectives—safety, quality, budget, and schedule—are met.
- Manage project resources and subcontractors for efficient execution.
- Coordinate and oversee project activities, including site work, building construction, and electrical system installation.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors for seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proven experience managing high-value commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Experience in sectors including Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Data Center, Technology, and Public Works.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to oversee project execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
Pay
$150,000 - $200,000 per year
