Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Inspector to support the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on a large commercial/healthcare construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical quality control, commissioning support, electrical testing, and construction documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections of electrical installations.
- Verify work complies with contract documents, NEC, and project specifications.
- Review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and shop drawings.
- Witness or support electrical testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover.
- Cookordinate with contractors, engineers, commissioning agents, and the project team.
- Document deficiencies and verify corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of Electrical QA/QC or Electrical Inspection experience.
- Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and ATS equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commissioning or startup experience.
- Experience with Megger testing, torque verification, or electrical acceptance testing.
- Experience on healthcare, mission-critical, data center, laboratory, industrial, airport, or transit projects.
- NFPA 70E training preferred.
Top 3 Qualifications
- Electrical QA/QC, inspection, and commissioning experience.
- Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems (switchgear, UPS, ATS, generators, transformers).
- Ability to read electrical drawings and support testing, energization, and turnover activities.
Pay
$120K-$140K (depending on experience)
