Electrical QA/QC

Responsibilities

• Perform Inspections of equipment as well as in-wall, ceiling, underground, and finals.
• Team with field leadership and the Project Manager on scope of work and installed work.
• Work with FSG personnel to make sure city and state inspections are successful.
• Perform Pre-functional Checklists (PFTs) of equipment.
• Keep track of observations and punch list items.
• Monitor work as performed.
• Oversee the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, MEG Sheets, torque sheets and third-party reports.
• Assure compliance with all FSG Electric safety processes and protocols.
• Work with commissioning agents and customers QAQC to ensure all electrical components are installed per contract documents.

Requirements

• TDLR Apprentice / Journeyman license
• Previous QA/QC experience or a minimum of 8 years in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• Solid employment history
• Demonstrate integrity and reliability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree

Skills

• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid TDLR Apprentice License or Journeyman's
• Ability to pass a drug and background screen
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and digitally use Procore
